The C63 Celest: our dressiest Sealander yet – and the first CW watch outside the Moonphase Collection to boast a shimmering aventurine glass dial. With a 36mm Light-catcher™ case that wears perfectly on both male and female wrists, and the unmistakable Sealander design aesthetic which blends legibility with attention to detail. Plus an applied ‘twin-flags’ logo, lume-filled hands, and precision timekeeping courtesy of the Sellita SW200-1 movement. Pair with our new, ultra-comfortable Consort™ bracelet or a lightweight leather strap.
A celestial adventure
A celestial adventure
Sealander has always been the go-anywhere, do-everything sports watch. A timepiece that’s as at home up a mountain as it is on the beach – and in the beach bar.
But what happens when occasion demands something more glamorous?
Step forward the C63 Celest. The first watch outside the Moonphase Collection to boast an aventurine glass dial, it combines the wearability and ruggedness of Sealander with the exquisite finishing of our highest-spec dress watches.
Aventurine was invented on the Venetian island of Murano in the 17th century. The glass is blended with reflective flakes of copper oxide that resemble stars in the night sky and sparkle with light.
Here, the dark blue aventurine dial plays host to diamond-polished hands filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1 for low-light visibility, while the applied ‘twin flags’ logo adds further depth.
At 36mm, the Light-catcher™ case is ideal for those with slimmer wrists or watch fans who hark back to the smaller cases of old. Made from anti-corrosive 316L stainless steel, its brushed and polished surfaces constantly reflect and play with the light.
The C63 Celest pairs perfectly with our new jewellery-like Consort™ bracelet, whose five-link construction enables it to hug close to your wrist. There are 127 individual links in every Consort™, and for the first time at CW, the ‘end links’ are polished, as are the ‘flanks’ at the end of every row.
If you’d prefer something lighter to wear, the watch also works beautifully with one of our leather straps. And swapping between bracelet and strap is easy thanks to our quick-release system.
Turn the piece over, and the exhibition back shows the intricately worked rotor of the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, while further inspection lets you see deeper into the complex machinery. And should you wish to see how the aventurine dial looks at sea, water resistance to 150m means you can go down as far as you’d like.

A glass act
The stunning dark blue dial is made from aventurine – a translucent glass invented on the island of Murano, Venice. The glass is infused with reflective flakes of copper oxide that resemble the night sky.
A logo you’ll love
The 3D applied ‘twin-flags’ logo adds a level of depth and craftsmanship to the dial, and accentures the precision of the indexes and handset.
Small is beautiful
The ergonomically shaped 36mm Light-catcher™ case – made from marine-grade stainless steel – has been designed to fit snugly on your wrist, whether you’re a man or a woman.
Back of beyond
When you turn the C63 Celest over, the see-through caseback gives you an intimate view of the Sellita SW200-1 working away inside.
Light up the night
When night falls, your watch’s lume gives you timekeeping after dark. We use a generous amount of Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 BL C1 to ensure exceptional nocturnal visibility.
Only Consort™ will do
A watch as beautiful as this deserves to be paired with the gorgeous Consort™ bracelet, which, thanks to its five-link construction, stays close to the contours of your wrist. Its discreetly hidden butterfly clasp also makes it effortless to remove.
